The lab-scale multi-function extraction and concentration unit is an integrated system designed for university laboratories, pharmaceutical R&D centers, and pilot-scale plant extract research. It combines dynamic extraction, multi-stage filtration, vacuum concentration, oil-water separation, and solvent recovery into one compact unit. From raw material loading to filtered, clarified, and concentrated extract output, a single machine completes the entire process. With a compact footprint suitable for lab environments, small batch quantities, and precisely controllable parameters, it can simulate industrial-scale production conditions and directly provide reliable process data for pilot and mass production. Widely used in Traditional Chinese Medicine, natural botanicals, health supplements, fragrances, and biopharmaceutical R&D.
Lab-Scale Multi-Function Extraction & Concentration Unit — Core Components
1. Extraction Tank: 304/316L food-grade stainless steel with mirror polish, acid and alkali resistant. Supports water decoction, ethanol extraction, percolation, and hot reflux extraction. Equipped with stirring device for uniform heating and improved active ingredient dissolution rate.
2. Multi-Stage Precision Filtration: Built-in independent filtration unit with quick-release screen structure. Replaceable screens of different precision sequentially complete coarse filtration (removing herb residue) and fine filtration (removing fine suspended impurities). Installed on the extract outlet line, filtering the extract before it enters the concentration tank to prevent residue from scorching or mixing into the concentrate, improving extract clarity. Removable filter cartridges for easy cleaning and replacement. Compatible with herb residue, plant fiber, and powder material filtration.
3. Vacuum Concentration System: Low-temperature negative-pressure concentration prevents thermal degradation of heat-sensitive active ingredients. Adjustable concentration temperature yields clarified concentrate with controllable specific gravity.
4. Condensation Recovery Unit: High-efficiency shell-and-tube condenser for full condensation and recovery of volatile oils, ethanol, and other organic solvents. High recovery rate reduces R&D material loss.
5. Vacuum System: Water-ring vacuum pump with stable operation and adjustable vacuum level. Supports dual processes of low-temperature concentration and low-temperature extraction.
6. Intelligent Control Cabinet: Touch screen centralized control. Temperature, pressure, vacuum level, and time parameters are programmable with automatic operation. Data recording meets R&D archival requirements.
7. Heating Unit: Electric heating thermal oil furnace / steam heating options available. For laboratories without steam supply, the electric heating integrated design eliminates the need for an external boiler.
